Let the countdown begin...

Wow...it has been 20 days since our last post! My how the time flies!

Yes, it has been 20 days...You do the math...How many days are there until the wedding?

10

This time 10 days from now we'll be dressing for our wedding ceremony. This time 11 days from now we'll be starting our first full day as husband and wife. It seems so bizarre...We've both been waiting so many years for the day we would be married, and now it's almost here. "Some day" is next week! Isn't God so good?

Since so many of you have asked, we thought we would let you know what's going on here at wedding central. =D

David is currently on a business trip in the Bahamas, he arrives back in Orlando this evening. Brianna and Colleen have been whining about him being gone since Monday morning when he left...and can't wait to see him come off the little train that will bring him from the terminal to baggage claim.

We have finally put all our musicians/vocalists in place, and picked all the music for the wedding. Phew!

The ceremony layout has been given to the wedding coordinator, now we just have to create the programs.

The decorating committee is buzzing with excitement. The hand-painted aisle runner is finished! (YES, we have a very good friend who does these! Nothing like Scripture being the bridge that carries the bride to the groom.)

The invitations to the rehearsal/dinner went out in the mail yesterday (sorry for the late notice!) The decorations for the rehearsal dinner are coming together nicely...and our friends who are the MCs of the dinner are busily planning ways to toast and roast us that evening. =)

While nothing is getting done at the house right now (painting, hanging pictures, etc.), because there is so much to do for the wedding, it's still fun to think about the fact that once we get back from our honeymoon we'll all be moving into our new rooms, and for some of us, our new home. And we'll be able to paint and hang pictures for the rest of our days if we want to.

We wanted to say thank you to all of you who are able to be with us on our wedding day. We know it is a sacrifice of your time and resources. We also wanted to tell those of you who can't be with us that we will miss you, but we completely understand that you are unable to be there. Don't worry, there will be a video!

Well, there are many details that need to be gotten to this morning, so off we go!
