The Miller's Visit

Well, just 2 days after Aunt Tracy left, the Miller's came! (At least most of them...) It was a quick trip...they rolled in around what is normally bedtime for the kiddos, we stayed up late enjoying each others company, went to bed, got up, had breakfast, and we were all on the road in different directions...

Brianna, Kami and Kate spent hours in Brianna's room playing I don't know what...Denise, Russ, Brad and I sang some worship songs together while Brad played the guitar and then we watched our wedding video (only Denise and Kami were able to be at the wedding)...and David and Levi went to bed!

As you may remember, the Millers are the family who fostered Maverick until it became clear that we were to adopt him...He's a lot bigger now then when they last saw him...

Brianna takes every opportunity to remind me that if it wasn't for her, I wouldn't have become such good friends with Denise. And, while she has a point that God USED her and Kami meeting for Denise and I to meet, I KNOW this special gift came from the LORD!

We miss the Miller's, and are so grateful the Lord gave us this visit...however short it was!
