Tuesday came, and there was a lot to do! My David was going to be home that night from his business trip! SO, off to Ace I went to get a few things I needed...like the right roller cover to work on the bumpy walls!
Did I mention Ace is the place with the helpful hardware man? Well, actually this time I didn't need help, I knew EXACTLY where the thing I most wanted was...New pulls for my china hutch! Here is a picture of the china hutch with some old pulls (bottom half) as well as some new pulls (top doors).
And, here is the dining room/living room primed...
And Maverick, who even looks cute in front of a primed wall and an open intake vent...
We didn't get much actual paint on the wall before David came home...I was just starting to "cut in" when he walked in...YES, he was a little shocked...BUT, as always, a gracious trooper! Right after dinner David picked up the roller and started painting, right along with Tracy. AND, they actually seemed to have fun!
And here it was afterwards...
This was the first coat, that has now had a second coat and looks even better. We also have a coat on the wall to the right that you can see here with the doorway in it...that's all for now until we can get some more paint...
Lord, thank Your for a wonderful husband, and a wonderful friend. Thank You that they are willing to lay down their lives to serve me because of their great love for YOU!
